Koviljka is a Berlin based sound artist, radio host and writer, raised in Copenhagen. Koviljka grew into the local underground scene as a multi-instrumentalist with several punk rock groups before changing places, tracing a path through longer, slower grains of sound, inspired by fourth and fifth world musics, pagan folk, drone and dub.
Koviljka draws song from acoustic and electronic repositories – drooping crowns of guitar, telegraphic ruin, zither and piano, modular patches and recorded scapes – pursuing speculative fictions in sound, lines in the soil, bodies germinating at the noise floor.
